The Facilities Coordinator plays an important role in the overall success of every event that takes place on property by ensuring that event spaces are set up and events executed properly.
The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for the set-up, service and clearing of food and beverage items to banquet guests in a manner consistent with L al service standards and assist with coordinating each event to ensure timelines and details are followed to ensure guests have a positive and memorable experience while attending any event, at any L al property.
Facilties Coordinator will work closely with the General Manager to develop, manage, direct and oversee event operations.
The Facilities Coordinator will follow through with the proper and timely setup and tear down of each event.
Includes the setup of tables, chairs, stages and audio/visual equipment as needed and maintain all equipment and facilities in an organized, clean and safe environment.
Essential Job Functions:
Event Preparation/ Set-Up / Tear Down Review the banquet event forms at the beginning of each shift to ensure that the correct linen, glassware and flatware is set for the event.
Set up and tear down of banquet rooms as stated on the BEO and seating charts.
Organize and clean banquet storage areas Cleaning and mopping facilities - bathrooms, offices, event facilities, etc.
Assist in ensuring that the events are setup on time Prepares tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert tables, etc.
as specified in the Banquet Event Order.
Assists in set-up of linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces for each function according to the Banquet Event Order.
Change out dirty linens with clean linens Practice 'clean as you go' policy Final breakdown of events Empty all trash from the facilities after the event Project an approachable, engaging, friendly and accommodating demeanor to both external and internal guests.
Follow all company standards and expectations to deliver exceptional guest service.
Anticipate guests needs and asks questions, delivers service within department guidelines, check for guest satisfaction, and offer additional assistance and expresses friendly appreciation for their business with our company.
General Tasks:
Keep equipment in order and stored in appropriate areas Keep accurate and adequate inventory of all supplies Inspect all equipment to make sure that it is safe and free from defects Drive company vehicles as needed for pick-ups and deliveries Drive company golf carts as needed, at appropriate speed and with caution Ensure the proper use of equipment Practice safe working habits and take all appropriate breaks and meal periods in a timely manner per state and federal labor laws Maintain high standards for safety and cleanliness in all areas of the property Assists fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
Follow all Company and department policies, procedures and service standards.
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines when handling food and beverage items.
Perform all other job duties as requested by management In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $22.
00 and $24.
