USA Marketing Events Manager

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Develop event selection criteria and work with USA Marketing and Sales team to ensure Specialized is present at events that drive the brand forward and engage consumers and enhance their awareness of the Specialized brand
Responsible for setting clear, concise event goals, booth design, messaging, event activation, and staffing that raise the level of execution, awareness, and perception of the Specialized brand
Work with Global Events, USA Marketing, and Retail to execute and bring events to life
Work with Global Events team to negotiate for booth space contracts or event permits and book event space
Drive stakeholder management and alignment amongst cross-functional teams to ensure staff is adequately prepared for the event including clarity on event goals, event schedule, activation plans, and roles and responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and leverage partnerships that expands Specialized USA's reach to non-traditional/non-endemic audiences
Work with Global Marketing social media and digital teams to create and capitalize upon promotional opportunities to drive awareness and attendance at events
Develop and manage event communication calendar
Manage events budget and monitor expenses
Conduct event retrospectives and post-event reports to assess and measure results and build institutional knowledge
WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN
BS in Marketing, Public Relations or Hospitality
2-4 years of experience managing corporate events and tradeshows
Meticulous attention to detail, exceptional communication and organizational skills
Able to coordinate complex, deadline-driven projects
Proven ability to network in an outgoing style
Ability to travel frequently, work extra hours including occasional weekends
Physical labor €“ willing and able to move bikes, boxes of product, equipment, signs, tables, tents, etc.
Utilize project management software, such as Confluence
Knowledge of office software, Adobe Creative Suite and Oracle a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
