This job opportunity is based in Morgan Hill, CA with our newly acquired LDMOS and GaN fab (formerly part of Infineon).

What can you do for Wolfspeed?
Design and develop RFIC and discrete RF Power Amplifier reference designs for Cellular infrastructure applications
Assist the sales and marketing team in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions
Customer project management to coordinate product design and application support for successful design-in of company products into Customer projects
Use in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to marketing team and the customer through technical presentations and product demonstrations
Develop application notes, white paper and marketing support documentation in support of optimizing product positioning in the market
Develop application specific hardware (single-ended, Doherty & high efficiency modes of operation), and support documentation to demonstrate and evaluate product performance in current and future applications
Matching circuit characterization and modeling using LDMOS & GaN models in Advanced Design System (ADS) and/or Microwave Office (MWO)
System level simulation, linearization, high efficiency amplifier investigation including Doherty (symmetric and asymmetric) and other advanced architectures
High Power RF measurements, system development, and data analysis, characterization with Digital Pre-Distortion (DPD)
Travel to support customers up to 25% time can be expected - including international travel as required
What you need for success:
MS in Electrical Engineering
10+ years' experience of High Power RF with emphasis on Power Amplifier (MCPA, PA) design, PCB layout, prototyping, troubleshooting and verification
Strong experience from amplifier design using Si LDMOS and GaN in particular
Strong individual technical contributor with experience in System level simulation, linearization, high efficiency amplifier design including Doherty (symmetric and asymmetric) and other high efficiency architectures for Cellular infrastructure with Digitally Modulated and Pulsed signals
Strong attention to detail, excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams. Project managerial skills are a plus. Individual will regularly interact with executives and/or major customers/employees
A good understanding of Cellular infrastructure market strongly desired
Fluent communication in English is mandatory

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
