GENERAL PURPOSE: Responsible for promoting and selling new homes in assigned communities and providing an exceptional experience to customers. Manage daily operations of model home complex and work with customers on every step of their home buying journey ensuring key milestones are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Promotes and sells products, services and/or related accessories utilizing effective sales techniques to meet and surpass profitability goals.
Provides customers with product price quotations, details regarding all accessories available, warranty procedures and additional details as appropriate.
Writes up and processes sales on computerized cash register in a professional manner and in accordance with guidelines.
Relays appropriate information to customers to enhance company's image.
Researches trends and technical developments through related publications and training sessions to maintain current knowledge and specifically meet customers' requests.
Receives and resolves customer complaints and problems within a timely manner.
Understands and supports sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all customers.
Operates computer system to check pricing and stock availability.
Ensures an attractive and orderly company image at all times through effective sales and displays.
Maintains adequate stock level to ensure all products are sufficiently available at all times.
Provide basic assistance to stock person by unloading incoming stock/equipment from delivery vehicle and examining as assigned.
Assists in the training of co-workers as assigned.
Follow-up with customer sales as appropriate.
Performs any task assigned.

Develops and maintains excellent working manager relationships with customers, construction, sales teams, and trade partners.
Exercise initiative in mentoring staff and organize and complete assigned tasks according to established guidelines, safety standards and procedures, deadlines, and department parameters.
Uses logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions; can see hidden issues; is excellent at honest analysis; looks beyond the obvious for solid answers.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
