  • Material Planning

    • Perform comprehensive supply and demand analysis to predict material shortages

    • Determine appropriate stocking levels for common materials based on usage, cost, and lead time

    • Gather forecasts based on sales backlog and publish to the supply base

    • Analyze supplier performance and drive actions to improve them

  • Supply Chain KPI's

    • Recommend Supply Chain KPIs both internally and for the supply base

    • Data gathering and dashboard publication

    • Management of actions to improve KPIs, both inside the company and with the supply base

  • Sourcing and Purchasing

    • Support Purchasing team members to own purchase orders as needed

    • Manage a portion of our supply base as needed

    • Competitively bid materials to drive down costs

    • Compare supplier capabilities and recommend sourcing strategies based on data driven analysis

  • Resolve material shortages and prevent its recurrence

    • Expedite materials with current suppliers

    • Using alternate suppliers

    • Steering demand

    • Using alternate materials

  • Support supply chain cost reduction activities as needed

  • Participate in supplier process excellence activities to help our partners improve

  • Partner with IT as we transition from legacy systems to a best in industry MES/MRP system

  • Represent Supply Chain within the company for other process improvement programs

  • Support company-wide efforts to standardize part classification and taxonomy


  • 3+ years of supply chain experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required

  • Ability to make quick decisions with imperfect information

  • Handle constantly changing customer requirements and impact to material needs

  • Advanced spreadsheet skills required including complex formula writing (SQL or Visual Basic NOT required)

  • Manufacturing/production experience is highly desired

  • Experience with growing companies is highly desired

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
