Senior EMC / RF Compliance Engineer

Works and/or oversees as lead engineer on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects. Applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment. Assumes additional departmental tasks delegated by Management. Collaboratively uses judgement to determine adaptations in methods for the betterment of the department. Uses initiative and drive provide oversight of projects ensuring customer satisfaction. Attention to customer service and quality. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related major Organized, critical thinker, team player, detail oriented, comfortable with troubleshooting At least 4 years Wireless/EMC/EMI experience or knowledge is required Takes initiative to acquire complete understanding and develop skills in a specific practice area with excellent performance Four or more years of experience in EMC and RF Testing Desired Skills & Experience Automation experience SAR experience What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown EMC RF Daily Responsibilities Perform RF Testing as per various standards such as FCC Part 15C, RSS 210, EN 300 328, EN 300 220, EN 300 330, EN 300 440, products covering WLAN, BT, Point to point fixed radio, GSM/UMTS/ LTE ( 2G, 3G, 4G) and other RF/wireless communication products Perform EMC Testing per various standards such as EN 55022/ EN 55024, EN61000-4-x and FCC Part 15B Routine operation, maintenance, calibration, qualification of laboratory equipment and instruments Ensures project schedule is on track and within projected deadlines Perform review/audit of peer engineer test reports and/or data Analyze and process test data Perform in-house calibration of RF preamp, filter, cable, etc., and help on lab maintenance Provide training to product certification team members on the latest radio regulatory requirements Interface with staff and clients in a technical and professional manner The Offer Competitive Salary: Up to $140K/year, DOE You will receive the following benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) match Paid Time Off   Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis now and in the future.   Jobspring Partners, part of the Motion Recruitment network, provides IT Staffing Solutions (Contract, Contract-to-Hire, and Direct Hire) in major North American markets. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
